Thanks Christine, yes Birmingham might seem like an odd choice as I want to focus on Sueno's Stone, but it was the only place (plus it's a very good History dept) that I could do the kind of MA I wanted by distance learning. Likewise, I look forward to meeting you at some point.
I am thoroughly fascinated by this. My interests tend to lie in completely different historical periods, but you've sparked my curiosity with the martial inscriptions. Still, I am most interested in hearing more about your personal experience, so I hope you will continue with this kind of play-by-play/historical discoveries combo.
I hope it all goes well. Keep me posted. Ruth
Thanks Ruth! Lovely to see you here. I've just cited your dissertation in my new post on the Kebbuck Stone :)
Thankyou for explaining why you are applying to study at the University of Birmingham. Hope to meet up with you soon.

And, of course, I wish you all of the very best.
Looking forward to seeing you soonish.

Thanks Rebecca - yes, look forward to seeing you in Cornwall!
